Starting from 2 January 2025, the online version of CHOICE Magazine is fully available for free, with a limited number of print copies retained for the public in need. Taking the lead in the distribution, Mr Chan Kam-wing, Chairman of the Consumer Council, and Ms Gilly Wong Fung-han, Chief Executive of the Consumer Council, were joined by Mr Jeff Mau, Director of Property Management, and Mr YC Wan, Director of Media & Community Relations at Link Asset Management Limited (Link), distributed print copies of the latest issue of CHOICE Magazine to the public today (16 January 2025) at Link’s Temple Mall in Wong Tai Sin. While sharing the exciting milestone of making CHOICE freely accessible with the public, they also encouraged the public to use the online platform for faster and more convenient access to comprehensive and practical consumer information.
The distribution received an enthusiastic response, to which Mr Clement Chan, said, “We understand that some members of the public may still prefer to read the print version of CHOICE Magazine for various reasons. We are delighted to collaborate with Link to leverage the extensive network of its shopping centres across different districts in Hong Kong. Starting from 1pm the day after each issue’s publication, distribution points will be set up in 14 selected Link’s shopping centres, making it easier for the public in need to collect a copy and share it with family and friends. The Council believes that making CHOICE Magazine free will reach a wider audience, empowering more people with a vast range of consumer knowledge and strengthening the protection of consumer rights. Let’s all become smart consumers together.”
In addition to the distribution points at the 14 Link’s shopping centres, limited print copies of CHOICE Magazine will also be distributed to all primary and secondary schools, university libraries, designated elderly centres, community organisations, and all public libraries across Hong Kong for the public to read.
